How We Ship
We ship only in-season fruit from October through June, all picked at the peak of flavor and usually shipped within 24 hours of harvest. You can rest assured that the fruit you receive from Countryside Citrus was hanging on the trees just days before it arrives at your door. Except for our gift baskets and assortments, all fruit is carefully hand-packed in durable cardboard boxes using our tray system. Each tray holds approximately 10 lbs: 8 to 12 grapefruit, 12 to 15 oranges/tangelos, or 20-24 tangerines, depending on size and variety.
Our standard method of shipping is via climate-controlled trucks to your door or your gift recipient's door. Physical addresses are required; no P.O. boxes.
Domestic Standard Shipping normally takes 3-7 days. Shipping to Canada takes 4-6 days according to province destination. Express shipping is offered for most packages; please call for pricing and details.
Shipments to AZ, CA, LA and TX are subject to the regulations of each of those states. Please call for additional information regarding these shipments. We do not ship to any foreign countries except Canada, and we do not ship to Hawaii.
Shipping Costs
Shipping to all destinations in the continental US east of the Mississippi River is INCLUDED IN OUR PRICES. There is a $7 surcharge for shipments to destinations west of the Mississippi and Alaska. There is a $20 surcharge for shipments to Canada.
